Ev Bishop is an award-winning USA Today bestselling author who believes in the power of stories to transform lives.
Best known for small-town Contemporary Romance and Women’s Fiction, readers describe her books as “full of humor, love and wisdom,” set in places “where breathtaking scenery and the magic of love are the best medicine for the soul.”

just read your article about the cane. I am facing a similar situation and people rarely talk about the emotional challenges of coming to terms with one’s reality and disability. Thank you for bringing this to light. It’s one of the hardest journeys I’ve faced to date.

I was surprised by how hard I found coming to terms with needing a cane was (is!) for me, and while I’m happy I made the decision to get one, I know the emotional adjustment is not over. Did you decide to get one? Either way, I wish you reduced pain and increased peace on your journey!
